DEFINITIONS
- Client: The customer named in the attached quote
- Job: All work outlined in the attached quote
- Site: The location of the job, including any areas needed to be accessed to carry out the job
CLIENT RESPONSIBILITIES
- Locating and marking of all underground services, including but not limited to power, gas, phone, optic cable, water and reticulation
- Surveying and pegging of the fence line
- Clearing of any vegetation, refuse etc from the site
- Providing adequate security to the site for the duration of the job
- Providing adequate traffic management to the site for the duration of the job, where applicable
- Pull down and disposal of any existing fencing where applicable
- Earthworks, final trims, fence line leveling and compaction
- Hardstand access to the fence lines for any required vehicles, including concrete truck access where applicable
ADDITIONAL CLIENT RESPONSIBILITIES FOR GARRISON & AUTOMATIC GATES
- Supply and installation of gate concrete plinth/s, both open and closed positions flat and plumb level
- Supply power to the motor location and power connection to the motor
- Supply, installation, connection, interfacing of all intercoms, access control and gate operating systems
- Supply and install retaining walls if required
- All bitumen works, alterations, repairs or replacements
- All kerbing works, alterations, repairs or replacements
TERMS & CONDITIONS
- This quote is subject to a site inspection with all parties prior to acceptance of an order
- This quote is valid for 14 days and works most commence on site within 30 days of receiving an order
- All costings provided are exclusive of GST
- All costings provided are based on full continuity and scope of works without delay. Any delays or additional work, onsite or at DBS Fencing, will incur additional costs
- Quote lead times are approximately 5-7 weeks from date of order and/or final site inspection
- For sliding gates, these are measured and manufactured after guidepost installation, with an additional 2-3 weeks to complete sliding gate installation
- Unless otherwise specified, DBS Fencing has only made allowances for soft soil excavation, no hard soil, compacted limestone and/or bitumen
- Any specialist earthworks and excavating services required will incur additional costs
- Soil removed from post holes will be spread out within the immediate hole area
- Excludes shop drawings, as-built drawings, engineer’s certificates or certifications, operation manuals, testing, material data sheets and the like
- Excludes any training, medicals, certifications, courses and the like
- Basic locking systems for gates has been allowed for (eg shoot bolt or chain). No allowance has been made for the supply or installation of lock smithery of any kind.
- Adjustments or modifications to the automation hardware by any parties other than DBS Fencing will result in voided warranties
- DBS Fencing accepts no liability for damage to any and all underground services, as listed in “Client Responsibilities”
- DBS Fencing accepts no liability for cracking or damage to existing footpaths and/or carparks
- Payment terms include a 30% deposit, with the balance being invoiced upon completion of the job
- Payment of invoices and accounts is strictly COD (cash on delivery) unless otherwise stated
- Payment of invoices and accounts is required by the due date stated on the invoice
- Should the customer default in the payment of any monies due under this agreement, all monies due to DBS Fencing will immediately become due and a letter of demand to pay all owing monies within seven (7) calendar days will be issued to the customer
- DBS Fencing is entitled to charge interest at the rate of 15% per annum on all overdue accounts from the due date until the date of actual payment
- Any expenses, costs or disbursements incurred by DBS Fencing in recovering any outstanding monies, including debt collection agency fees and solicitor’s costs, must be paid by the customer
- Until full payment has been received by the company for all goods and services provided at any time by DBS Fencing, any goods or materials will remain DBS Fencing property
